The Practical Field is an area of study concerned with the development of a student as preacher, educator, pastor, evangelist, administrator, and presbyter. Graduation of fieldwork was undertaken so that seminary students would grow with experience and responsibility. Students engaged in practical church work under the supervisor of pastors, presbytery executives and the Seminary's director of fieldwork.
