Keyboard shortcuts can be used to navigate aspects of this site without a mouse or cursor.


When viewing a document, select or tab into the image viewer and use the following controls to manipulate the image.


  • Move up: w or [up arrow]
  • Move down: s or [down arrow]
  • Move left: a or [left arrow]
  • Move right: d or [right arrow]
  • Return to centre: 0
  • Zoom in: = or [shift] + w or [shift] + [up arrow]
  • Zoom out: - or [shift] + s or [shift] + [down arrow]
  • Rotate clockwise: r
  • Rotate counterclockwise: R
  • Flip horizontally: f

    The Theolog

    The Theolog was a student publication that began in 1925 as The Seminite and ended up with the longer-lasting name of The Theolog. It served as a kind of yearbook for the school, with an evolving design throughout its history. The final issue was published in 1968.

    This collection contains digital copies of official academic catalogues published by Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. 

    Insights: The Faculty Journal of Austin Seminary

    Insights, the Faculty Journal of Austin Seminary, features an essay by a faculty member drawing on his or her research and teaching interests. Scholars from diverse perspectives reflect upon the theme, and pastors and practitioners bring their ministry contexts into the conversation. The journal also includes book reviews and an essay written by an Austin Seminary professor which thoughtfully addresses issues critical to contemporary life.

    Windows: The Magazine of Austin Seminary

    Windows, the magazine of Austin Seminary, features articles and essays designed to enrich the spiritual lives of alumni, congregations, supporters, and other followers of Christ. Windows features faculty-recommended books and news about the enterprise of theological education practiced at Austin Seminary.
