Search Categories allow you to perform very precise searches by choosing terms that have already been established in this database.

1. Clicking on the "+” to choose a category which will expand it and display its options.
   
   
   
   
2. Search terms will present themselves and can be added to your search by clicking on them.
   
   
   
   
3. Categories with too many options to display on the screen at one time will present A-Z buttons on the left. You may also use the search box to filter the list.
   
   
   
   
4. Adding multiple selections within a single category will perform an “OR” search within that category, giving you more results.
   
   
   
   
5. Once you have made your selections, you can either click the “X” in the upper-right hand corner of the category window or click elsewhere on the screen to close the category

6. You will now see your selections listed in the appropriate category and the number of search results you will retrieve next to the “Search” button.
   
   
   
   
7. Optionally, you may repeat this process using other categories. Combining categories performs an “AND” search, which will require that each of the results include at least one of the selections from each category.
   
   
   
   
8. If you find that you are not getting enough results, you can remove terms by clicking on the “X” for a given term or hit the clear button to start over.
   
   
   
   
9. If you are satisfied with the number of results, you can click the “Search” button to view the results!
